There is also a boating centre if you want to venture out on the loch. There is salmon, sea trout and grayling fishing on the River Earn which runs through Crieff which is a lively county town set amidst the magnificent Perthshire landscape, perfect for those not quite so hooked on fishing. Drummond Fishery, at Comire has several pools heavily stocked with rainbow trout -fantastic for children and beginners to angling as you are almost certain of success! Nearby Loch Earn is very popular with boat and bank anglers.
