The house is very nice, with a totally secure garden if you have a dog. A lot of extras were provided, tea, coffee, cleaning stuff, toilet rolls etc The TV and sound system are excellent. Lots of dvds and cds, plus books. In all very nice and clean. The bed in the front room is very hard, and the sheets and blankets are a bit dated! The pub next door is a bit noisy, and they don’t do food. Parking is a bit scarce in a very narrow street. Town, canal, and beach are all in easy walking distance.

An absolutely lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay - the pictures really don't do it justice. Beautifully decorated and spotless with all cleaning materials supplied. The pub next door was quite noisy, however it was a great pub with lovely people. We were out most of the time so it really didn't spoil our stay at all and I am a great believer in if you can't beat them join them! We will definitely look at booking again for longer next year as this was a short break to attend a family celebration. Thank you Ziggy's Place for a wonderful experience!

This is our third stay at Ziggy's Place. It is a homely, well appointed property with everything you need for a great holiday and dog friendly. It has the bonus of a pretty, secure garden ideal for relaxing and soaking up the sun. We had no problems parking outside or very near to the house. Plenty to do in Hythe Town, and a quick walk to either the seafront or military canal. We were lucky that the biannual Venetian Fete was taking place on the canal during our stay, so there was live music to enjoy most evenings and the decorated float display on the Wednesday. We hope to stay a forth time.

We absolutely loved our stay at ziggys place! It was clean, comfortable, had everything you could possibly need. Very homely. Decorated to a high standard. Hythe is a lovely little town with everything you could want, lovely pubs, coffee shops & supermarkets. Dimchurch down the road has a great sandy beach which if you walk a bit there is dog friendly parts. The photos of the house don’t do it justice, it was so much nicer than we thought it would be. Would definitely return.

Ziggys place is AMAZING! We absolutely loved it here - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed and sofa, everything you could need facility wise, great location, I can go on and on. We spent many hours wondering if Margaret would sell to us so we could live there! The only negatives are the ones mentioned by a lot of people - parking on the street is difficult, but there was ample parking within a 2 min walk. Then the pub next door - yes it borders the house, yes there is some noise and yes I can imagine that can be annoying in the summer and if you want to sleep before 11pm. But we really didn't find it a problem - there was occasional 'drunk noise' after 11pm but it was fleeting and didn't bother us at all.
