Dog friendly. Our dogs Alfie and Gaia very much enjoyed the many walks from the doorstep. Local bus and train service handy if you want to go further afield or travel back after a long walk. The cottage itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Booked again whilst still there!

Excellent cottage with all the facilities you would expect. If you're interested in fell walking then this cottage is perfectly located for access to many parts of Snowdonia.

Lovely and surprisingly spacious cottage in a fantastic setting. Everywhere is a drive to get to but you are in the heart of snowdonia so that’s what you should expect. The cottage is on a fast main road making walking anywhere along the road a bit hairy, but once in it is a cosy cottage with all we needed as a base from which to explore all North Wales has to offer. We will be coming back.

We were very comfortable in Ysgoldy and thought it was very well equipped for a holiday cottage.

Lovely stay, well stocked kitchen and plus of a washing machine and airer. Car parking space right outside but van only just fitted, fine for a car but little space to turn around was only down side. Fantastic views of fields and sheep

Lovely little cottage, comfortable and perfect for a couple who need a base for an active holiday. Not hugely well equipped and on a busy main road, but only 5 minutes from Bettws y Coed. Lack of garden for dogs, but the house is situated on a quiet lane and there are lots of footpaths around for easy dog walking.

Very clean cottage, good location for walks and tourist amenities just could do with double glazing at cottage very close to roadside. Overall would definitely use again when we go back to Wales :)
