A lovely comfortable little cottage. The location is perfect, with stunning scenery all around. And an abundance of walks to suit all abilities. We had some lovely days out including Muncaster castle, and a hair-raising drive through Hardknott pass to Coniston. My only criticism would be the extractor fan in the bathroom is very noisy. A tiny price to pay for an otherwise perfect holiday.

Lovely location, clean and comfortable apart from double bed which was a little too hard and the shower door was very stiff. Garden furniture and patio misleading as was shared area and not overly pleasant due to stairs up to first floor apartment. Not many local amenities so best to take food etc with you. Wi-fi worked well, TV was a bit too small.

A lovely, cosy apartment, the ground floor of a pretty cottage. Spotlessly clean, with everything you could need. 200m or less from the lake. Public footpaths on your doorstep, and a little stream on the other side. The location could not be better. Easy private parking right outside. From the windows you can watch the screes of Wast water turn red with the setting sun. Friendly and helpful host, good communication and directions. Some very nice touches, milk in the fridge, biscuits, tea and coffee, made you feel welcome on arrival. In short, Beautiful accomodation in an Idylic setting. Highly recommended.
