Perfect retreat for the perfect break. Lovely cost apartment in the most beautiful part of the planet. We will be back. Just note the postcode bears no resemblance to the location of the property! Aim for Greendale on the OS map...its one of a few holiday apartments there and next to a lovely yew tree. Being Easter the Easter bunny even made it. We had exceptionally beautiful weather and came back with sun tans!

A lovely comfortable little cottage. The location is perfect, with stunning scenery all around. And an abundance of walks to suit all abilities. We had some lovely days out including Muncaster castle, and a hair-raising drive through Hardknott pass to Coniston. My only criticism would be the extractor fan in the bathroom is very noisy. A tiny price to pay for an otherwise perfect holiday.
