If you like visiting 70s retroland this might be the place that reminds you how everything in Britain got better with the arrival of IKEA. The place smelt damp and and fusty despite our staying in the hottest, driest summer for 40 years. The furnishings are very dated, and grubby. You can feel the springs in the single beds? The electric is on a coin meter, and almost impossible to find coins anywhere nearby. The doors feel flimsy, such that you feel they are made of cardboard.
