We went for Christmas and it was really lovely to find a beautifully decorated Xmas tree, mince pies, a bottle of Prosecco, and other goodies, plus a poinsettia, and the house was tastefully decorated. The cottage is spacious, with all modern amenities but was warm, cozy and comfortable. It had a dishwasher but we could have done with at least twice the amount of crockery as we were always running out, which meant that it was on more frequently. Also, it would have been nice to have a dining table. Other than that the cottage was ideal.

The cottage did NOT have a garden or outside sitting area which cast a shadow over our stay. We had a very well behaved dog which meant that we could manage him effectively but not having a garden was a major disappointment, and we would have booked elsewhere if we knew this beforehand. Otherwise our holiday was very fulfilling though beds were too soft and pillows were ineffective. Facilities were good though hate electric cookers. Cottage was a little claustrophobic and parking was not ideal.

Made to feel very welcome with cake flowers and complimentary drinks as well as treats for the dog! Property was spotlessly clean and parking was no problem.
