We have had a second bad experience at Wychwood, the first time we came was last year on out honeymoon and it was very dirty. We decided to give it another chance on our first anniversary; it was still dirty with hair in the beds and kitchen equipment dirty, among other things. The main faults with this property was that the swimming pool was very cold and had a broken grate cover at the bottom of the pool, which was a health and safety issue. Also the hot tub was broken for the entire time we stayed, the heating did not work, there were no bubbles and there were polystyrene balls floating in the water. This is the reason we did not use the hot tub.

Brilliant family celebration for my 80th birthday. All ages enjoyed the house, pool, garden etc. and everything we needed was provided. The Waterfront was convenient and we found the food excellent.

We were an extended family of adults and teenagers. One adult with learning difficulties and very poor sight. We had a wonderful holiday. At least one more shower and toilet would have been good. A handrail on the short flight of stairs to LGF would have helped. The 3 adults sharing triple room found it a tight squeeze. We all recycle stuff at home and would have welcomed information on how to do this on holiday. We eventually found bottle bank. A few mirrors for doing make up and hair would be appreciated. These comments are not complaints, just pointing out the things our particular group would have liked to have. We all loved the pool/ hot tub/billiard table. We had communal meals round the big table, enjoyed sitting outside front and back. The location is fantastic, with views of the sea, sunsets, really convenient eating place by the sea on our doorstep, and good local beach. All in all we would highly recommend

We had a great time at the cottage. 3 families including a baby and two dogs. Lots of space indoor and out. Pool area was great. Lovely sea view. Short walk to small beach, a couple of small supermarkets and bus stop. Upstairs room only suitable for agile people as stairs are very steep and it could do with a fan up there.
