The living area is the perfect place to relax on the comfortable seating with room for all, and the Smart TV means you can enjoy a film or catch up on the soaps. The outdoor area provides garden furniture, a fire pit and lawned area for all your enjoyment and with two patio areas, there’ll be a sunny spot for all; storage is also provided for bikes. Three of the five bedrooms can be found on the ground floor along with a family bathroom and separate toilet. Head up to the first floor to find two more delightful bedrooms.
Caergwrle is a historic village that pre-dates Christianity. The castle is situated on the hill opposite Lorien and was originally built by the Welsh Prinnce Dfydd ap Gruffudd in 1277 and is the last castle built in Wales by a Welsh prince.
Walkers will enjoy the Wales Link Path which passes along the edge of the property and connects the amazing Wales Coastal Path with Offa’s Dyke Trail. Those with a passion for cycling and mountain biking can explore Llandegla Forest, which is home to some fantastic bike trails no matter what your experience. You can bring your own bike on or rent a bike locally.
Take a trip to Park in the Past, a 130-acre local attraction just a 5-minute drive away where you can book carp fishing, open water swimming, kayak, and paddle boarding. Explore the Clwydian Range, ramble to the top of Moel Famau and spend time at Loggerheads Country Park with the family. Visit the nearby town of Llangollen, home to the world-famous steam railway, annual Eisteddfod Music event, stunning canal walks as well as boutique shops, restaurants, and pavement cafes.
