We had a fantastic holiday staying in The Gallery cottage. The cottage is gorgeous and spacious inside with quirky touches. Extremely comfortable with everything you could you possibly need. The lovely enclosed garden was lovely to chill in too. Thank you for the welcome pack and the beautiful flowers from the owner’s stunning garden 華 It was a great location and we ventured out to Coniston( really lovely and great water sports) , Windermere and Ambleside. The local village has a great wee shop and butchers and bakers too for supplies. Local pubs served great food. The weather was fantastic which was a bonus:) We will definitely return in the future. I would highly recommend booking here.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the gallery. Lovely cottage, very comfortable and is well equipped with everything you need. We were lucky that no one was staying in the next cottage as they are very close and we had to walk through their patio area to get to our cottage, there would not be much privacy. The cottages are probably better being booked together by a big family. The other added touch to improve the stay would be a welcome/info brochure including all information about the area, what’s close by to visit, closest supermarkets etc. also information regarding appliances and how they work and where to put the rubbish and recycling. I did think the extra charge for our dog as a separate payment was a bit steep as well. Stayed at lots of cottages previously and never had to pay for our dog before.
