absolutely faultless holiday home! location, cleanliness and facilities totally exceeded expectations. even a beautiful burn opposite for a spot of wild swimming! the only downside was our own lack of planning and understanding of local shop + pub opening times. otherwise, a fantastic place. well recommended.

Lovely holiday cottage in a quiet peaceful location. Ideally situated for the Observatory, walks straight from the door and watersports at Waterside. Lots of space for a family and a dog to spread out in and the summerhouse is a great additional place to sit and relax. Excellent burgers and pizzas available at kielder castle 5 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage and location. Very clean. It was quite remote to buy any supplies so some more basic kitchen accessories like washing up sponges, bin bags etc would've been appreciated and expected considering the price we paid for the cottage. There were loud clicking noises on a night coming from what we guessed were heaters but even turning switches off never seemed to get rid of it. Couldn't get the wii to work or the TV in the summerhouse so some instructions would've been helpful.
