This is a lovely bungalow - plenty of room. It is superbly equipped with everything you might need and a lovely enclosed garden too. It is ideally situated with dog walks from the door, three places to eat within walking distance, and also within walking distance of the Beamish Museum. The owner, Brian, was very nice when he came to meet with the gas service engineer (for the annual check). Other than that, we didn't see either of the owners again but they live locally and are available for anything you may need. We will definitely be staying here again.

I enjoyed my second stay at this lovely bungalow and revisited Beamish Museum. The three days of snow did not bother me as the surrounding are so quiet, relaxing and comfortable. It is excellent value for money and spacious enough for four people and a baby but a bit costly when I go on my own with the dog to get away from it all !

Woodland View is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. We were snowed in for several days and the owners not only gave us candles and a flask of hot water during a power cut but also did some shopping. Well recommended!

Having enjoyed over 40 holiday homes over the years, this is by far the best that we have had. There was so much attention to detail, and a very high level of cleanliness.

Fabulous in every way, spotless, home from home, lovely size for a couple or family, nice private garden looking at the woods, if I had a little moan the drive is a bit tricky but we managed our Discovery! No shops in walking distance but Asda and Tesco are only a few miles away and pub 10 minutes walk serving food all day. Plenty of things to see around the area. We will return soon enjoyed every minute.

Lovely bungalow, very clean with all modern amenities. In a very quite cul de sac, only amenities nearby is the local pub, which is nice and serves good food, but no local shops near, nearest shop about 2 miles away
