Lovely place but the forest is off limits, big plus as there is a local milkman which had glass bottles. Not too good for a base camp for the lakes as everything else was too far away and driving was tiring

Lovely cottage in a gorgeous spot for exploring the nearby towns and villages as well as for enjoying country walks. Would recommend.

Lovely cottage however, it would have been nice if the place was a bit warmer when we arrived as took a long time to heat (perhaps owner put on a couple of hours before arrival?) Hot water was a struggle to get right too but finally resolved. Owner/emergency contact responded fantastically so thank-you for that. Shower head split so needs repair (water sprays on bathroom floor) . Beautiful cottage and location thankyou
