A delightful, cosy cottage. Very well equipped and immaculate. Secluded so not for those who want lively night life etc but perfect for anyone who appreciates peace and tranquillity. The Packet (pub) is in walking distance but along a main road without pavements so not really a pleasant walk but worth it. We had two excellent meals there. The fish and chip shop opposite the pub is very good too. The garden was bigger than we expected. Our grandchildren, who were staying nearby, loved running up and down it.

The location of the cottage is great for getting to all the parts of West Cornwall. There is parking for two cars, and a very long grassed garden, ideal for small children. It is in a very peaceful spot. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Lovely location down a rural lane with excellent parking and a magnificent garden for our dog (or Children) Long and flat. Very easy access to some great places - particularly if you are a member of the National Trust. The penrose estate is only 7 mile away and absolutely stunning. The only reason I did not give it 10 for location was the main road to Helford which you have to walk down to get to the coast (Prussia Cove) has no footpath for a small part and it can be a bit scary. Had to carry my little dog.

Idyllic. One of, if not, the best holiday cottages we've stayed in.

The cottage was easy to find, using the instructions given by the owner. We had no problems with the lane to the cottage, and the parking was fine. The cottage was cosy and well equipped, with a comfy bed and pillows. Having a linen line outside was very helpful, as were the airing racks. Yes, I was on holiday and used the iron and ironing board provided!! The only problem was the wifi, which was very slow – only one of us could use it at a time, and when you were the one using it, it didn’t cope with things like looking at websites very well. The cottage is well located, with Marazion about 10 minutes down the road, which is where the causeway to St Michaels mount is. A short distance further along is Penzance, and as you come into Penzance there are large Sainsburys, Morrisons and Tescos, all with petrol stations, and all within about ¾ mile of each other in the same road. We didn’t use the village pub or the local takeaways, but mostly used pubs in Penzance or where ever we happened to be. We can recommend this cottage.

The cottage is ideally suited to access the coastline and nearby places of interest. Tucked away from the main road, it is cosy and very well equipped. The approach road might be difficult for a low slung car as the grass in the middle is quite high!
