Standing peacefully at the edge of the village of Rillington, this 18th-century former barn has been skillfully converted into two holiday properties, each retaining many original features. They are heated with renewable energy and enjoy underfloor heating throughout. Local attractions include Flamingo Land, Eden Camp and Scampston Hall. On the coast lie the towns of Scarborough and Whitby. York, with magnificent minster and cobbled streets is a 30-minute drive. Shop and pub 300 yards.

Granary Cottage (IUV) and Rose Cottage (IUW) have an inter-connecting door and can be booked together to accommodate up to 13 guests.

A lovely well equipped house in a quiet location. Ideal as a base for visiting lots of places. A very welcoming host.

It ticked all our boxes wrt location, facilities and cleanliness. The only local amenity is the combined Post Office come Convenience store but as they sell newspapers and milk that was fine and Morrisons is only a short car ride away.

We have enjoyed many pleasant holidays at the Granary over the last ten years. Pam and Steve have maintained the property to the same high standard since our first visit. I’m sure we’ll be back at some point, hopefully with our new grandson. Highly recommended.
