Local places of interest include stately homes at Burton Agnes, Sewerby Hall and Sledmere, RSPB Nature Reserve at Bempton Cliffs and historic Beverley, 16 miles, renowned for its minster and racecourse. There are numerous cycle routes and footpaths through the gentle, undulating hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, perfect for exploring the pretty villages and enjoying generous, Yorkshire hospitality in the inns and tea shops.     Very well located for our holiday, very quiet surrounded by fields, but near enough to the local road network and the local town of Driffield. Within about an hours drive of most of the attractions in that part of Yorkshire, including the York Park & Ride. Access to the owners swimming pool. The owner is accessable, friendly but not intrusive. We enjoyed our stay

    The marks are scored out of 5 due to the pool being out of action for cleaning. The owner was welcoming and very helpful. The apartment was cosy and warm and very clean, having everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would suggest the frosting of the bathroom window as 5 windows in the owners property are able to look straight across into the bathroom. Outside could be made more welcoming. The owners house is immaculate which sadly shows up the entrance to the apartment. The parking area is very untidy, yes we are aware of the working side of the property but, small measures would help a lot on the overall impression upon arrival. The stair access needs cleaning, old dead flowers removed andx replaced in flower tubs, window sill cleaned and a derelict garage door cleaned, repaired or removed. It was our first time to visit East Yorkshire and the people are very friendly, polite and helpful.

    This is a really lovely apartment. The location is secluded which is great, it’s about a mile into the local village but the location makes you feel you’ve escaped from it all. The real bonus is the swimming pool! The kids absolutely loved it (as did we!) it’s a fantastic addition to the apartment. The owners are lovely too!
