Several bits of equipment did not work or needed attention and I left a list for the landlady, as she suggested. However, the situation was glorious and the weather was kind, so I would be happy to return, as were our neighbours.

We love it at peats it's our third time staying there. It's perfect for our two made dogs and a family of four. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and clean. If you want luxury you need to look at five star properties. The owners are friendly and helpful. It's a great location for a get away from it all holiday lots of walks from the door and pub with good food 10 minute walk down the lane. Take a touch if your from the city it gets very dark at night . Tesco superstore five minute drive . No Internet if you want that you'll have to go to the pub. Phone signal on most networks good. We will be going back there again in 2018 as it's a lovely place.

Only 2 downsides to this lovely cottage - horrible pot-holed track to get there and no shower mat in a very slippery bath. Apart from that, great.

Beautiful location but the double bed is awful. It's noisy and so uncomfortable. Using the twin room wasn't an option as we couldn't fit my daughters cot in there. The patio door is also very temperamental. Saying this, the cottage was okay, useful having a washer dryer as the clothes horse was rather rusty. Most things we needed were there, except shallow oven trays but not the end of the world. Lovely for walking the dogs. Just be aware that even though you are asked to keep your dogs on leads, many people do not. Lots of horses passing by. Very rural but so close to Gloucester which was great!
