Had a fantastic stay at Whistle cottage. Very beautiful cottage, set in beautiful surroundings. Definatly a place for relaxing, especially with the large hot tub on an evening with those vast night skys. The cottage has everything you need and the wood burning fireplace was a lovely addition! It was very rainy and cold whilst there but the cottage was the perfect cosy hideaway. Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely cottage on one level which is just what we needed. There are a few things that let it down. No WiFi. No microwave, no oven mits, only one tea towel, poor quality towels, no shower mat, and the floor is very slippery and no wood for the log fire. The cottage was in an excellent place. We could explore the surrounding area, Skipton, settle, Barnoldswick, Colne and many small villages are easily accessible. The hot tub was good fun but needs a hand rail. If the owner sorts out the missing items it would be a 5 star review. Until then it's definitely 3 star.

The cottage is in a lovely location, the views are lovely and it was very relaxing to sit in the hot tub and watch the sun set. We enjoyed some great walks. The cottage is decorated beautifully inside. However we would have liked a hair dryer and some more storage for clothes in the bedroom. But defiantly a lovely little place?

The location is very quiet, it is a bit closer to the other building than shows in the photos. Not enough wood was left for us, it was freezing when we arrived, could not turn on the heat because it is on a timer, took forever for the place to heat up. The hot tub was nice, had to turn it up a bit as it wasn't much hotter than a bath. The pub is a bit further than mentioned on the site, village is very small so ended up driving to dinner to a nearby village. Sounds like I am only complaining but it was a quaint cottage in a quiet area, good for a relaxing get away.

Lovely cottage, overlooking beautiful landscape. Pubs, restaurants and a few shops are in walking distance. The hot tub is definitely an added bonus

Great cottage for the two of us for Christmas ? everything we needed and it had the best of both worlds of being remote enough with lovely walks with just a short walk into Barnoldswick
