Wool is an excellent village to be based in to explore the area. But Wisteria is on a main road and the vehicle noise in the bedroom is significant despite the double glazing. The blinds on the bedroom windows were inadequate to stop daylight permeating the room. This would be a big problem in the summer. Apart from the excellent TV, the facilities were basic and the finish of the apartment was mediocre. It is also of course not a cottage but the downstairs flat in a detached house.
