The cottage is in a great location to visit Lincoln city centre. Nicely modernised while keeping its charm and character. Lovely aspect to front and on a quiet street. Great welcome pack and local shops and takeaways only a 2 minute walk away. Good communication from owner and flexible on checking out time.

Lovely cottage with great view of the windmill. Small inside but beautifully renovated and thoughtful welcome hamper and bathroom bits for the forgetful! Perfectly located 5 mins from town centre.

We stayed for a week early March. Rachel, the owner was very helpful before our visit with advice about parking and travel conditions due to snow and was very welcoming. We chose the cottage due to its location and it being pet friendly and we weren't disappointed. The cottage was lovely and clean and there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. The sitting room and bedrooms have a nice cottage feel and decor; the dining room, kitchen, bathroom and back entrance are bright and modern. Plenty of hooks and space for coats and bags in the back entrance. The kitchen is very well equipped and there were games, books and dvds in the lounge which we made use of. We would certainly recommend it to family and friends.

Only criticism is draught through the front door makes lounge uncomfortable. A door curtain would make all the difference!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your suggestion. We will install a door curtain.

Excellent owners and location. Parking was generally fine and good provision is made for you and visitors. Nice decor, very clean and comfortable. No bath and the wet room is quite small, so can be a little tricky if you have young children but not a major problem. The burner in the living room is nice (and necessary on winter mornings). Would definitely stay again.

The Cottage has a nice mix of Old and New plenty of character.....its very reasonably priced which is good and the location is good with 2 parking spaces outside so you don't have to use your car to enter the wonderful city of Lincoln. The windmill opposite is a great use for finding your why back if you get lost. The Netflix on TV was a big big plus and most appreciated and the log burner was lovely....the kitchen and dining room were a great area and lovely place to spend the evening drinking wine over a meal and chatting. The only Minus with this property which you cannot do anything with is the downstairs toilet and myself is someone who has to get up 3 or 4 times a night....the the cost outweighs that....Would recommend to anybody and would return.
