We arrived on the Friday afternoon, after phoning the owners ahead we were told the cottage was open and to go in and make ourselves at home. It was very well equipped and modern, there was a wonderful welcome pack of Gin & Tonic's x 2, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. It was so quiet in the cottage even though it was on a farm and it was so cosy. Front and rear courtyards were private and enclosed which helped with our dog, who was on restricted walks due to a recent foot operation. The following day, the owner introduced himself (not intrusive) and made sure we were OK. The cottage is ideally situated for many places to visit (Winchcombe, Bourton on the Water) and plenty of eating establishments. Definitely worth another visit.

This cottage was ideal for our holiday which was based around walking everyday except one, when we used the local steam train to ride to Cheltenham then return to Broadway for lunch and look around, before returning to Winchcombe. For those who enjoy a walk, the Royal Oak at Gretton is a forty minute walk. The Gardeners Arms at Alderton is a five minute drive. The cottage contained everything we needed for our stay. We had an exceptional bonus of watching a 'Little Owl' perched on the stables roof most evenings at dusk. We highly recommend this cottage and would gladly return.

Great accommodation in a terrific location, especially for those (like me) who chose the Cotswolds for, primarily, a walking holiday. It was a relaxing place to return to each evening, and had excellent value for money facilities. I had a thoroughly enjoyable week, which the accommodation contributed to. Finally, although mainly marketed at couples, I found it very congenial as a single visitor.
