A family friendly pub is 30 minutes’ walk via woodland and attractions include The Milky Way and The Big Sheep theme parks, Exmoor Zoo and leisure facilities in nearby Barnstaple. Explore fishing villages at Bucks Mill and Clovelly or beaches at Westward Ho! and Saunton. Visit Hartland Lighthouse, Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal factory. There are 3 golf courses nearby and fishing is available locally. Slightly further are Dartmoor and Exmoor. Shop and pub 2 miles.

    Wonderful property with every creature comfort imaginable. Beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Only downside is that that due to the location, you have to drive to get anywhere. The access road / driveway to the cottages is not for the faint hearted ! Very steep and rough, with a steep drop to one side, the children covered their eyes whenever we drove up or down !!

    We had a lovely week at this beautiful property. It is designed with lounge and balcony upstairs to take advantage of the amazing countryside views, which we're even more spectacular during the snow at the start of our week. It is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We felt at home immediately and appreciated the comfort, warmth, relaxation and peaceful location. The access lane to the Lodges site is steep and, at the moment, due to remaining properties being built, is rough with potholes. This didn't bother us but it is advisable to take it slowly. We believe this road will be made up once construction is completed. We would be happy to return, perhaps in warmer weather when we could make use of the large balcony. Highly recommended.

    Really lovely property with everything you could need, shame it wasn't closer to a shop or pub, the nearest pub, The Rising Sun was only accessible by car so you couldn't both have a drink. Nearest supermarket was a good drive away. This property is a must for anyone wanting peace and quiet and the views are lovely.
