Having spoke to the vendor a week previous to arrival i explained that it was our anniversary and the moved us to lindean within the same cottage. Therefore this review is based on that. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The bathroom was well equiped with all yoi need for a start on arrival. The bedroom was large with a beautiful bay window seat. If it is cold the bed has a heated blanket and a large wardrobe to store all your clothes. The main livingroom had a 6 seat table for dining, stereo and iphone music system. Large flat screen tv and 2 comefortable leather non reclining sofa's there is also an open fire for extra heat. The kitchen is fully equipped as you would expect cooker, microwave etc etc. There was also a george forman grill in there. This was as well stocked as my own kitchen at home. All rooms have overnight electric storage heaters to keep it warm for you. When you first arrive it may be cold as it is an old mansion and does not have double glazing it may take a whole to warm through, however dont let this put you off as there are large grounds for you to collect plenty of wood for the open fire to help this out. There is a games room on site with a pool table, table tennis table and table top football. Unfortunatly as others have put the pool bats are broken and taped up im the middle. If you are wanting to be competative then take your own however after a couple of drinks the use of these make it far more amusing. We did not use the pool so it would be unfair to comment on that. Based on our week the only question that ever needs to be answered is would i return. The answer is without a doubt. It is in a great location for walks cycling or just some good sightseeing dependant on what your thing is. Grab a nice bottle of rose , light the fire and settle back.
