Nestled in the stunning countryside, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, these cottages have been comfortably furnished and equipped to provide home from home holiday accommodation, making a perfect choice at any time of year. They stand in the owner’s grounds, boasting their own private patios and enclosed fenced gardens, providing a perfect space for dogs and children. There is excellent walking and cycling opportunities, direct from the door. A network of quiet lanes surround the area and there are many footpaths and trails nearby. Knapton is a quiet, rural village, just a few minutes’ drive from the sandy beaches of Mundesley, Trimmingham and Sidestrand. The delightful beach at Trimingham is just 6 minutes drive away with the spectacular beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the Sea also nearby. The charming coastal town of Mundesley is just a short drive with Happisburgh and Sheringham also within easy reach. A visit to the quintessential seaside town of Cromer is a must do, topped off with fish and chips from the legendary Mary Janes! The town is 7 miles away, with a sandy beach, promenade, pier, RNLI working lifeboat station, museum, zoo park, golf course and the town centre with shops, cafés and restaurants. Award-winning Gunton Arms, set in a one thousand acre deer park and the locally acclaimed Vernon Arms are both a short drive as are day boats on the Norfolk Broads. Dog walkers will welcome the close proximity of Bacton Woods, 280 acres of woodland just 15 minutes by car, with its three waymarked walks to leisurely seek out the 200-year-old trees. The bustling market town of North Walsham is 4 miles and offers shops, supermarkets and a train station with a service to Norwich city. The cathedral city of Norwich is 19 miles and offers excellent shops with two indoor shopping malls, theatre, castle museum, cathedral, market square, cafés and fine restaurants. Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads is 14 miles for daily boat hire and river trips, waterside restaurants, cafés and shops. There is a village shop and pub in Trunch, 1 mile away and two pubs in Mundesley, approximately 2 miles away. Shop and pub serving food 1 mile.The Granary (UKC150), Wallages Cottage (UKC151) and Flint Barn (UKC1627) can be booked together to accommodate up to 14 guests.
