We had a lovely five day break at Roe Cottage ... Hadleigh is an amazing old town full of little backwaters of interest to explore ... the Church of St. Mary's and the Deanery etc.not to mention all the old houses from medieval to Victorian are beautiful. We enjoyed some lovely local walks too, to Kersey and a good walk up to the top of Constitution Hill overlooking the valley is a good one too. If you are NT members then Flatford Mill is a good one to do and not forgetting Alton Reservoir which was so peaceful and beautiful too. Weather was in our favour as it rained mostly overnight!
