We had a wonderful stay at Roe Cottage. We would definitely stay again. There are some lovely villages to visit in the surrounding area and the Hadleigh is a very quaint small town with some lovely independent shops. The dog walks in Hadleigh are very nice and start behind the cricket pitch across the road from the cottage. The only gripe was the ill fitting toilet seat in the downstairs toilet which moves. The outside secure area is a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy a drink and is bigger than the picture suggests on the website.

A very good quality conversion, comfortable bed and sofas in a fabulous location. But ..its completely soul less. Not been dressed at all. Feels like a serviced apartment. The crockery and cutlery old and probably ex pub / cafe. Car park very untidy looks uncared for. We loved hadliegh and the cottage location so would would back to hadleigh but not Roe cottage. A shame.

An excellent and well appointed property. The welcome pack was much appreciated. We needed to go to several events in Colchester and nearby during our stay and this property gave us a terrific base to do our visiting. Hope to visit again.
