Not sure where to start . Fell over the weed control sheet that was sticking up above the gravel. There was more ground sheet showing than gravel that was all over patio area and hurt wrist and arm within the first 2 days.Rang about a huge hole in step by backdoor that my dog could not get down was told it had been there years? (so why did it I have to ring and get it fixed).Patio door handle is broke and bodged together with a allen key that anyone could get into,no concerns about security that I could see . No washing line .(well I was told there was one but it was a rotary one and it was all broke and twisted so I had to make one.No pegs .clothes horse collapses every time it was used so needs binning . having no freezer is silly 2 fridges one could be swapped for a freezer so easily..Garden is sloped yes was told this but it is unusable in my opinion. You can just about carry canoes or boats down it . The stepps down to the water are hard work and the banister is loose and coming away.We had to spend 1 hour chopping branches so we could get past the bushes to get to the water.(I could not be bothered to phone and complain as this is all I seem to have done. For ££ for 2 weeks I would have liked a bit care and consideration. The area by the water is beautiful when the water is in but once gone it's so muddy. it is almost impossible to get out of the boats/canoes without getting covered in mud you have to wait until the tide is more or less level with the concrete area. The best thing about the cottage was the quiet( well once the neighbour in the 2 million pound house was not building )I feel sorry for anyone staying here to be honest it's a cash cow to the owner who seems not to spend any money on it at all .

Fantastic location. Gorgeous views over the river to watch the tides. House was beautifully clean but requires updating as very tired. Garden not secure for dogs and extremely steep with uneven slabs. We loved Newton Ferrers and noss mayo and hope to return to the area.

Comfortable accommodation, but a bit tired and would benefit from an update. The lighting in the hallway is quite poor and there was none in the porch. The steps in the outside area are quite uneven and some are crumbling which could be quite dangerous. There is also a very high step out of the living room. Having said this the location was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Sarah was very helpful and accommodating.
