Then relax in the adjacent sun room which opens out onto a generous terrace that offers enjoyment of this prize location, whatever the weather.
On the first floor, fabulous lake views can be enjoyed from the rear bedrooms – a delight to wake up to. Admire the bird’s eye view of Windermere in all her glory, the steamers cruising the gentle rippling waters, the fells and beyond, and the tranquillity of this special setting. Generous gardens run down from the terrace to the lake, a fabulous space to enjoy the setting sun, and guests are able to wander across the terraced lawns to the private jetty (no boat launching available).

The property sits just a short drive from the much-loved lakeside village of Bowness-on-Windermere and neighbouring Windermere village. Both offer a tempting mix of shops, cafés and restaurants. Steamers travel the lake from Bowness, and the ferry crossing over to the western fells is just a short drive away. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 300 yards.

    Westward Ho is a beautiful holiday home. Clean comfortable spacious and very well equipped. The garden is fabulous, quality outdoor dining and seating areas with a jetty at the bottom to Lake Windermere, giving it the wow factor outstanding!

    We booked for my surprise 80th Birthday present and had the best time ever. Such a beautiful property in a fantastic location! I would HIGHLY recommend this property and will plain to stay there again!
