Admire the bird’s eye view of Windermere in all her glory, the steamers cruising the gentle rippling waters, the fells and beyond, and the tranquillity of this special setting. Generous gardens run down from the terrace to the lake, a fabulous space to enjoy the setting sun, and guests are able to wander across the terraced lawns to the private jetty (no boat launching available).

The property sits just a short drive from the much-loved lakeside village of Bowness-on-Windermere and neighbouring Windermere village. Both offer a tempting mix of shops, cafés and restaurants. Steamers travel the lake from Bowness, and the ferry crossing over to the western fells is just a short drive away. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 300 yards.
