Fabulous stay Only one thing I would say is that electric should be included in the rate you pay for the cottage and not separate. I have stayed at many dog friendly cottages and not had to pay separately. I know it was advised before but when paying a lot of money to stay it should not be separate. Also it is not 100 per cent dog friendly as dogs have to stay in the kitchen. Enjoyed our break though a the walks are fabulous

The cottage was warm, comfortable and generally well equipped and efforts had been made to ensure we felt at home. The shower was a little underpowered but can’t say that is a big deal. The location is exactly as described and we loved that it was so rural despite living in a rural location ourselves. We enjoyed long walks with our dog and lazy evenings in front of the fire. Local amenities are limited but we knew that and had no problems. The local pub was not serving Sunday lunch so we went to The Angel in Alston and had a great meal there. Everything was as described and we would definitely stay at the cottage again when seeking this type of away from it all break.
