The cottage was gorgeous, comfortable and cosy. Extremely well equipped and on a very quiet side street. Stow is a beautiful little town with lots of interesting shops and eateries, all within easy walking distance. It was great having a little enclosed garden for our dog, and Stow is one of the most dog-friendly places we have ever been to - nearly all the cafes, restaurants and shops allow dogs.

Lovely cottage with excellent facilities including well appointed kitchen and bathroom, comfortable lounge, full SKY package, underfloor heating in kitchen and bathroom. As a bonus the heating is on from 6.30am in the morning to 11.0pm so cottage was always warm when we came back from a long walk. To be 'picky' a power shower would be a nice addition and street parking wasn't always available which may be a more acute problem in the summer months. The cottage has 3 bedrooms but one of these is only accessible through the main bedroom so if you're going with other people make sure they are good friends! Would thoroughly recommend - 9/10

We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend. We arrived at Stow when it had turned dark and really thought we knew exactly where Weavers Cottage was, but we didn’t expect to find it occupied! The person who answered the door said he owned the cottage! It then transpired that there are two Weaver Cottages in Stow, so use the postcode!! It is a very cosy and comfortable cottage. We did have a problem trying to operate the oven, despite reading the instructions. The bins outside were full to the top with rubbish, so we found it difficult to put ours there as well. The large mirror in the bathroom was on a tilt, it had clearly dropped, but we were afraid to touch it. On a positive note this is a quaint cottage, in a perfect location to Stow and we would definately stay again.

A well equipped and tastefully furnished cottage conveniently situated for direct pedestrian access to the centre of Stow and it's pubs, restaurants and shops. Weavers cottage is the end cottage of a terrace of three with access through the courtyards of the other two. Although there is no allocated parking, we never had a problem finding an on street parking place close by.

Beautiful cottage in a brilliant spot being only a short walk to pubs and shops. The cottage was extremely well equipped. It was also very quiet. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Just a small criticism about not having carpet at the top of the stairs. My sister is disabled and as the stairs were steep it was potentially hazardous for her on the wooden floor. Additionally not having allocated parking was an inconvenience due to loading and unloading our cars. That said it would be difficult to find any other issues. Definitely would recommend

A beautiful cottage and the owners have put in so many lovely touches. The kitchen is very well equipped, furnishings in the cottage comfortable and pretty. The location is in a quiet spot yet very central for Stow. We found sitting in the garden a real bonus especially on such hot days when there was shade in the evenings. It was a little difficult to park in the street in the recommended areas, not always a space. It is quite expensive compared to other cottages I know in the area, but has excellent features. Thank you very much for letting us share it for a few days. Sometimes we needed a washing up bowl for washing salad leaves or small amount of washing up, rather than use the dishwasher. It could be a useful extra to provide.

The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was clean, well furnished and in a perfect location. Just be aware that the Wi-Fi provided does not allow browsing, only email and social media access is available.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments about the cottage; we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We were concerned, however, to read that you were unable to browse using the wi-fi in the cottage. We will address this issue with the service provider.

Whilst the seating was comfortable, the inclusion of a giant "footstool" was a definite hindrance. We had to move it out of the way and reposition the second setee so that all four of us could watch the TV in comfort. The equipment in the kitchen was one of the best we have seen. The second bedroom was a tad small but we managed without too much difficulty. Overall, we would come again.

We had a lovely stay here! The cottage is in a superb location just seconds walk into stow itself and minutes drive to other gorgeous villages. There is a lovely walk from Stow to another couple of villagers nearby which was great dog walking. The Cottage itself is well equipped the only thing we could not find was a grill handle! The standard of cleanliness could have been better, it was rather dusty and although we expected some dog hair being a dog friendly cottage there were far too many dog hairs left behind from other canine guests than we have experienced in past cottages. Overall it was a great week, helped by glorious weather!

An excellent Cottage, probably the best we have found. Both the kitchen and bathroom are fully up to date, the kitchen has every thing you may need. When we visited we had the misfortune of bad weather - cold and rain for the first three days. We were able to sit by the log gas fire reading some good books until the weather improved. The Cottage is close to the town centre of Stow on the Wold which makes it convenient for visiting the shops, cafes and restaurants. Whilst there is no parking at the Cottage we had no difficulty in finding a space in the road some 30 yards away. There are plenty of places to visit in the area and some good walks which are described in the information available in the Cottage.

We have stayed in many cottages over the years in the UK and abroad and Weavers is the best in every way.

Very well equipped. Lovely bedding. Fire was great when coming in from our walk and great having sky upstairs and down.
