The nearby village of St Breward has a lovely pub with a restaurant and a little village shop. Horse riding is available across the moors, or for the adventurous, the beautiful, scenic Camel Trail is just a under a mile away at Wenfordbridge, which will take you all the way to Padstow. Really lovely cottage, excellent location for sight seeing. Lovely touches by the owner on arrival (milk, biscuits, pop for kids and lovely flowers) and toys for the kids to play with. Ideal for families, very comfortable and well equipped. I couldn't of asked for more.

A lovely well equipped cottage in a central location for both beaches and the moors. For us there were just a few things than made it less than perfect. The first is access, all the local approach roads are very narrow, fortunately there isn't a great deal of traffic but passing another car was not for the feint hearted. Both bedrooms faced directly out onto the road so were subject to the early morning and evening traffic, again not loads of traffic but still a minor disturbance. Finally the log burning fire was out temporarily of action while we stayed, unfortunately the storage heaters weren't sufficient on their own. Overall a nice cottage which would be perfect for many people

Response on behalf of the owner; Many thanks for taking the time to send us your feedback. It's great to hear that you liked the cottage and found it well equipped. I'm sorry to hear that your experience was marred by a few things. If I had been aware that the heating wasn't sufficient, I would have gladly provided an additional heater for you. The new log burning fire is now installed, making the cottage nice and toasty for the winter months. You are right that the cottage is surrounded by narrow Cornish lanes, a feature of most of Cornwall and it can take some time to become accustomed to this. I hope that you will consider visiting Cornwall and our cottage again.

Beautiful cottage in a great location for so many of our favourite places including Tintagel, Boscastle and the Eden Project. The cottage is pretty well equipped but we use the kitchen more than most people would. The shower is good (a must for us). Decor is nice and it’s incredibly clean. The garden is nice and enclosed. There’s a big shed at the end where you can store equipment. We used it for our roofbox but you could use it for surfboards etc. There’s a welcome tray that includes the children and dog. It is on a road but it’s not busy. You’ll need to take things like hand soap, hairdryer, beach towels and key kitchen things like oil, salt and pepper, cling film etc. Bodmin with all the main supermarkets is about 5 miles away and we had arranged a delivery on the day we arrived. We hope to return in the winter to take advantage of the log burner. I definitely recommend this lovely gem.

Good, clear directions to find Weasels Nest. Spacious cottage especially for a couple with plenty of storage. Large safe sw-facing private garden. with outdoor storage space if needed. Ideally sited for walking on the moors, cycling the Camel Trail, which on-road passes the door or exploring the north Cornwall coast. No really local amenities but this was not an issue to us. Well off the beaten track but well worth the effort of getting there.

We've just come back from an amazing and relaxing week at Weasles Nest. The location is beautiful and relaxing a great get away from the daily grind. The garden is superb and the children enjoyed playing in it. The beds were really comfy and good quality. Really enjoyed it and would recommend.
