Loved our stay in Stable Cottage. The cottage was clean and well kept, thank you for the welcome pack, much appreciated! It is well positioned, being only a short distance from Scarborough to the South and Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby to the North, in fact I was able to cycle to all three places on NCN 1 by just dropping down to Ravenscar to join NCN 1 and then turning left or right! Thoroughly recommended!

Lovely cottage, shame the shower room and loo downstairs, not good if you need to visit in the night. Cottage quite close to main road so traffic noise was noticeable, particularly at night.

Last minute booking, it was so small even for 2 people. The living room sofa was rock hard so if like us you don’t go out in the evening it wasn’t the best. Kitchen was tiny 2 people could no way be in it together. On the positive it was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The front garden was pretty although shared, no back garden. A bit noisy too with the main road being close and trying to get in and out from the drive was hectic as a mad main road. I would recommend the owners instal a light near the entrance and leave cleaning products as not one thing on the premises.
