The owners were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was halfway between Scarborough and Whitby which meant easy driving to each town. All the pubs and restaurants allowed you to take your dogs in wether you wanted to have a meal or just a drink. The down side to our stay was the noise from the main road,( we are not use to hearing traffic coming from a small village). However, we would gladly stay there again

Loved our stay in Stable Cottage. The cottage was clean and well kept, thank you for the welcome pack, much appreciated! It is well positioned, being only a short distance from Scarborough to the South and Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby to the North, in fact I was able to cycle to all three places on NCN 1 by just dropping down to Ravenscar to join NCN 1 and then turning left or right! Thoroughly recommended!

Lovely cottage, shame the shower room and loo downstairs, not good if you need to visit in the night. Cottage quite close to main road so traffic noise was noticeable, particularly at night.
