Lovely property, lots of room, in a very rural location. Very peaceful, good local pub serving good food. The butcher in GLAISDALE also very good. Need a car as it's a few miles from the main road. North Yorkshire Moors awesome and the coast is stunning.

On a weeks cricket tour....we've been coming to glaisdale for 30 years! loved the cottage - table tennis space etc. Only bad thing mattress on double bed. I spoke to members of the cricket team who rented wayside a few years back and when I mentioned the matress they knew exactly what I meant. It slopes to one side I turned the mattress but still a problem so slept with pillow supporting back. Members of team had 5 or 6 of cottages in that terrace - best week. Certainly will be wanting for next year unless a bigger one comes up in that row of houses!

We enjoyed a super holiday at Wayside. The house is well situated with lovely views to front and back. The layout out inside is very practical with a large sitting room, large kitchen-diner ( with doors opening out onto the patio/garden) and good-sized bedrooms. The house was very well equipped with more than enough crockery, cutlery glasses etc.. The bathrooms and en-suite shower rooms were spacious with lovely fittings. Wifi and phone signal both excellent. There is a pub 150 yards away and about 300 yards is the railway station with trains to Whitby. It's a very friendly line but not very punctual! The house is very well placed for a number of lovely walks. The two shops (post office/store and butcher's) are about a mile away. The roads into and around the village are very steep ( up to 1 in 3) so we were not sorry not to have taken our bikes! A great holiday in an area we didn't know at all well before.

great, it was the perfect accommodation for us, lots of space, a large kitchen well equipped, spacious bedrooms, each with a bathroom or shower, very nice natural environment, the house remains fresh despite the strong external heat. and no parking problems for both cars, super We will definitely come back if we still sing in the region a big thank you for the kind attention to our arrival, especially this beautiful flower bouquet
