Second floor apartment in former corn mill, with original waterwheel, market town Clitheroe close by, Preston and Lancaster nearby.

Open-tread stairs to entrance. All on second floor. Living room/dining area/kitchen with wooden floor. 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 single. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot and high chair on request. Freesat TV. DVD and small library. Electric cooker. Microwave. Wi-fi. Shared large lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (3 cars). Cycle store. No smoking. NB: Stream and drops in garden.

In a pretty Ribble Valley village location, within the Forest of Bowland (AONB). This holiday apartment is located on the second floor of the owner’s impressive three-storey house. Accessed by a private staircase and set in about 1-acre of grounds, this stunning former corn mill retains many original features, including its fully functioning waterwheel. The village of Chipping lies in a conversation area, close to the market town of Clitheroe which has shops, bars and eateries, as well as a castle. Preston and Lancaster are a 30-minute drive, the Lake District and Manchester are an hour’s drive. Shop and pub 50 yards, restaurant 1 mile.

    Really lovely cottage. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The local people seem friendly too. Lots to do and see nearby. The only slight grumble is the shower it's not very powerful.

    Absolutely beautiful cottage in a beautiful location! Large open plan kitchen, living area and dining room. 3 bedrooms, 1 ginirmous, and two smallerones. We were travelling as a family with 2 small children and my mother in law and it's suited us perfect! I am already planning our next trip back!!
