Very nice place and the location is ideal if you are looking a nice little town. For Americans, it takes a while to adjust to paying for the electricity, but after the first three days we were fine. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the town of Sneem, which is only 12 miles to the northeast as the crow flies. Travel to towns northwest, such as Caherciveen and Glenbeigh is simpler.
