Ferries leave here for Lismore. Oban, 18 miles, Fort William, 26 miles. Sandy Airds bay, 15 minute shoreline walk via Clach Thoull (Hole Rock), an SSSI. Boat and cycle hire locally. Seafood restaurant/pub 200 yards. Shop/PO 300 yards.

    The waterside lodge was what myself and my husband were staying in, (the photos showed the house ,but the part that holiday makers actually stay in ....is the rear of the house....a small ...Annexe/granny flat, the photos don't state this,the photos show the inside of the house only, which appear more larger than it actually is,the stairs were very narrow ,: 18.5inches per step, which I found to be a bit awkward, there was black mold on most of the window facias,the upstairs attic space was cramped ,&the voile curtains were full off dust, the window to the rear off the brown couch,the blue voile doesn't help much, so i won't be back . but the appin area is a braw wee place.

    Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback, the property is a small flat designed for couples. The apartment is correctly advertised as being on the left wing of the main house not the rear, with panoramic views of Loch Linnhe and the islands, and there’s narrow stairs going up to the attic bedroom. In regards to the mould, this was actually marks left from decorating tape on the facia. Had we been made aware of the black marks or dust, we could have resolved it immediately and we offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
