Absolutely stunning, cottage was perfect, loved all the little touches. Bed was so comfortable and walk in shower was great, owner was such a lovely lady, very helpful when we needed advise and some help. Sharon at the arts and craft shop is also a lovely and helpful lady, good at giving directions, alistair who does speed boat rides down at pier very nice man and on boat ride his knowledge is fantastic, loved it all. Boat ride to the island of lisemore was fab then to collect bikes to go bike ride and site see was amazing. Would highly recommend.

It’s a lot smaller than it looks as you only get an annex on the side of the house. I couldn’t fit up the tiny stairs to the “bedroom.” There were problems with the electrics for the first few days we were there so everything kept turning off. The lady is very nice and helpful and the area is beautiful.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; As you know, the electrical problems I had were beyond my control. l thought my electrician had sorted the problem in the previous week but as it turned out, this was not the case as the only answer was to have a completely new consumer unit with new RDC circuit breakers. This was installed on the Monday of your week, which was the earliest possible date so l am very sorry you were inconvenienced. As regards the size and stairs in the property, this is correctly described in the details as being compact with narrow stairs to the bedroom and is not at the back of the property but at the side with balcony overlooking the sea, islands in Loch Linnhe, and mountains beyond. As you are a tall guy I appreciate your comments and hope it didn't affect your holiday too much. Thanks again for your feedback.

Lovely small apartment, clean and comfortable with the most fantastic location. Excellent restaurants close by and local shop supplied all we needed. Pat, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful - we loved it!

The waterside lodge was what myself and my husband were staying in, (the photos showed the house ,but the part that holiday makers actually stay in ....is the rear of the house....a small ...Annexe/granny flat, the photos don't state this, the photos show the inside of the house only, which appear more larger than it actually is,the stairs were very narrow ,: 18.5inches per step, which I found to be a bit awkward, there was black mold on most of the window facias, the upstairs attic space was cramped ,&the voile curtains were full off dust, the window to the rear off the brown couch, the blue voile doesn't help much, so i won't be back . but the appin area is a braw wee place.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback, the property is a small flat designed for couples. The apartment is correctly advertised as being on the left wing of the main house not the rear, with panoramic views of Loch Linnhe and the islands, and there’s narrow stairs going up to the attic bedroom. In regards to the mould, this was actually marks left from decorating tape on the facia. Had we been made aware of the black marks or dust, we could have resolved it immediately and we offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
