Almost canceled this after finding some bad reviews but I’m so glad we didn’t. Best view ever, sofas and bed v comfy in this small quirky apartment not suitable for larger people or those with mobility problems but we felt it was a lovely wee bolt hole with good pubs/restaurants within walk or cycling distance, very peaceful place and landlady lives at back of building couldn’t be more helpful. Will def stay again

We really enjoyed our stay, Pat the owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. The crockery, cutlery, saucepans etc were all of very good quality and in excellent condition. The view from the outside balcony over the loch to Lismore is stunning. The lodge is ideal for 2 people wishing to explore the local area including Glen Coe, Oban and Fort William. There are 2 excellent hotel restaurants within easy walking distance. We ate at the Pier House and our meals were excellent with very friendly and attentive service. A local shop carries a good range of groceries, papers, fruit and veg, alcohol and bread etc. The shop also has a Post Office. Great place for a couple to stay.

Very disappointing overall. Photographs of property very decieving and do not give an accurate depiction of how small the property actually is. Nowhere near our usual standard of cleanliness of facilities. Crockery cracked and some had definitely not been cleaned inbetween guests staying at the property. Stairs up to the bedroom very narrow, steep and dangerous, nightmare negotiating them at night when having to use the bathroom. Slipped several times outside the property. Bathroom - powerful showerhead but the hydro did not work in the bath as advertised. It is the worst property we have ever stayed in and somewhat put a damper on a much looked forward to holiday.
