waterhall cottage is perfect as a rural retreat.standard fare for a three star property, with the bonus of a beautiful 3 acre garden to relax in.it has a big comfy bed and en-suite bathroom, good shower over the bath,a large sitting room with a good selection of books and info on places of interest. the kitchen is small but well equipped should you need to cook, though there are good pubs and tea shops within a 5 mile radius.you will need to take some supplies with you as the shops are not on your doorstep, but this is a small price to pay for the tranquillity you get.do your research, because there are many pretty villages and towns about, set in the rolling countryside of south Suffolk.the accommodation is dog friendly, and last but not least by any means, the lady host ,Sylvia,is lovely.we will readily return.

Great location, Great Cottage, very comfortable bed. Kitchen is a bit on the small side. The owner Sylvie is such a lovely person. We stayed over the Christmas period and the extras put in by Sylvie were extraordinary, even a small xmas tree! The effort was so appreciated. Didn't see any owls but the Owl nesting box , with a great view from the kitchen, would be so interesting in the spring. Sylvie did say they had 2 chicks last year.
