Spacious accommodation both in the cottage and the gardens. Very friendly and helpful owners. Kitchen was a bit small but as we had no intention of cooking, it wasn’t a problem for us Very peaceful location Good road connections Good local facilities for shopping Ideal for all our needs

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The owners were very helpful and friendly. If there was a shower in the second en suite it would have improved our stay. The location suited us as it was near to Bury St Edmunds. The kitchen was quite small for a family.

Really lovely cottage in excellent location for visiting different parts of Suffolk. We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was really comfortable and well equipped. We were fortunate to have a sunny week and able to enjoy the lovely shared garden with comfortable chairs provided. There is great walking locally if you want a stroll during the day with access to the local school’s lovely grounds and lake and the wildlife is abundant.

One of our best holiday rents, very clean and cosy, near to everything we wanted to see, and the owners were helpful and kind.

The kitchen was much smaller than we expected and the bed in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable - so hard and no give meant that we woke very stiff and unhappy! The owner turned off the Wi-fi and we couldn't get mobile phone reception in the cottage which was difficult as my father was in hospital/died.

Had a lovely week in walnut cottage. Its location is different but nice. My only negative was the hard beds. We stayed with family who also loved their stay. 1st visit to Suffolk but would like to come back one day. We would certainly stay in walnut cottage again.
