Hadrian’s Wall can be reached in around an hour’s drive, so you are sure to be kept well occupied. The nearby village of Caldbeck, 3 miles away, is a pretty little area to visit, with its local pub serving an excellent menu of freshly cooked food, tea rooms and shops to visit too. Beach 16¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.
