Peaceful location, with just three wooden lodges beside a fishing lake with great little dog walks in the grounds. Very well kept.

Terrific place - so peaceful and quiet. Only minus is it's a bit of a hike to the village pub - mostly uphill. But on the plus side it's downhill coming back.

Hazel Ldge was delightful. As a nurse I live a very busy and stressful life. Hazel loge was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was warm and welcoming, there was everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. The riverside walk was cathartic all you hear was the gentle stream and wildlife! We did go out and about and found we needed to travel as the lodge is very remote but that was all part of the charm. The weather was not great so we were unable to sit on the lovely balcony. But we will come back when the weather is better. The owners were very nice and friendly taking us to the lodge and showing us around, we were left a cream tea! and we had a visit before we left to enquire if our stay was ok. All in all a perfect break I would highly recommend the lodge.
