Hazel Ldge was delightful. As a nurse I live a very busy and stressful life. Hazel loge was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was warm and welcoming, there was everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. The riverside walk was cathartic all you hear was the gentle stream and wildlife! We did go out and about and found we needed to travel as the lodge is very remote but that was all part of the charm. The weather was not great so we were unable to sit on the lovely balcony. But we will come back when the weather is better. The owners were very nice and friendly taking us to the lodge and showing us around, we were left a cream tea! and we had a visit before we left to enquire if our stay was ok. All in all a perfect break I would highly recommend the lodge.

A really lovely place. A tranquil sun trap. Nice local walks and easy to get to surrounding areas. Great local hosts too who are full of knowledge.

Beautiful little lodge in front of a big pond/lake, lovely surroundings and cute little village. Me and my partner will definitely be coming back with the kids :-)
