We had a great week and apart from 1 day, the weather was kind. Caught loads of fish and the surroundings are very peaceful and relaxing. The owners were always on hand to help with any problems.

We stayed here for a short break with our dog and were very happy. Hazel Lodge was inviting, clean, tidy and fully equipped and sits in its own picturesque woodland with a river walk and pathways. We enjoyed exploring this area many times, even in the rain. The pub in the village is friendly and the food very good (particularly the apple pie). Exploring further afield was ideal with Bude being close by. We were able to receive 4G mobile reception so communication with the outside world was not a problem, if you wanted it. The owners were helpful and friendly. A charming place to stay. We would like to return.
