The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The grounds are wonderful and very well looked after. Not for a nervous driver as access is via lots of one track bumpy roads. All in all perfect for nature lovers and people with dogs as the walks on site are great. Extremely peaceful!

Our first stay at the lodge and certainly won't be the last Wonderfully peaceful fabulous walks my husband loved the fishing and my dog loved the walks from the lodge although the weather was a bit damp a few days we still could sit on the veranda and have a coffee or a snack Easy to explore Cornwall and get out and about we drove to padstow in just over an hour All in all one of the best cottages we have stayed in and will definately visit again One minor suggestion would be if there could be supplied a sweeping brush to sweep up the dog hairs (We have a lab ☹🙊😐) And it would be easier than having to get out the Hoover every day
