Amongst the vineyards and castles of the Alto Monferrato, immersed in the unspoiled UNESCO World Heritage Site, this historic house, with a private outdoor swimming pool, is only 50km from Genoa, 118km from Turin and 11km from Milan, all under an hour away by car. This holiday home is ideal for a large family, providing a relaxing setting for a tranquil getaway or a special occasion.The property is beautifully decorated with antique furniture as well as modern elements. The house is set over two levels and the ground floor comprises a kitchen, a living room with a cosy wood burner for those chillier evenings, large windows overlooking the garden, two bathrooms, two double bedrooms, a single bedroom, a cloakroom and conservatory with a double sofa bed. On the first floor, which is accessed via external stairs, there is a living area with a double bed, a bathroom and large sun terrace. From the ground floor you can access the annexe, through its private entrance in the the garden, which consists of a large kitchen/living room with a double sofa bed and a bathroom. The enclosed garden is equipped with garden furniture, a swing, football goal, badminton rackets, a basketball hoop and a climbing frame, and boasts a stunning outdoor swimming pool.By the swimming pool, away from the noise of the city, you can admire splendid views of the surrounding valleys. There is an array of trails to follow, amongst the hills in this enchanting landscape, and you can go on horse riding and mountain biking tours, visit well-known wine cellars and go wine tasting, a great opportunity to taste the regional produce on offer. The house is ideally located close to the castles of Monferrato, with the highest concentration of castles in northern Europe, the nearest castles are in Trisobbio, Morsasco and D’Orsara. The location is also convenient for reaching the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato area, renowned for white truffles and wine. Within easy reach is the city of Asti which specialises in sparkling wines. The city of Acqui Terme is close by, a famous Italian thermal resort, as well as Serravalle Scrivia, with its large outlet store attracting tourists from all over Europe. Shop 5km and restaurant 100m.
