Single beds not very comfy, especially the downstairs one. Doubles were fine. Maybe single better suited to child than an adult. No internet was a bit of an issue for the younger members of the family

An excellent cottage with three good sized double bedrooms and a single. Three bathrooms makes it ideal for that bit of privacy. Great location near to the beach and two pubs. The beach cafe is very good and has a dog friendly beer garden. Would definately book this cottage again.

We made a very late booking and we were very pleased with the cottage and communication

I have visited Victoria House twice with family and although we had a very enjoyable time on both occasions we were slightly disappointed on our latest visit. The 'welcome pack' was pointless - an 18.7cl bottle of rose wine and a box of matchmakers - for a group of 5 adults! When I see on the website that a welcome pack is included I would expect to see plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and milk as a minimum, but there were about 5 tea bags and hardly any coffee or sugar. There was less than a full toilet roll in each bathroom, fortunately we took some of our own (but shouldn't have to). There was no hand wash in any of the bathrooms. In the kitchen there was less than a quarter bottle of washing up liquid and no dish cloth. The ensuite bathroom was grimey with mould round the bath. The property is in a great location and it is only minor but important things that let it down. If it wasn't for the location by the beach I would be hesitant to book again.

Good well equipped house spoilt only by uncomfortable beds and the lack of a working can opener on arrival. This had been commented on by the last tenant but a rather rude rebuttal had been overwritten in the guest comment book. The reason for not using again is the beds and the ammenities in the area

For a family seaside holiday in a quiet resort, this house is perfect. It is just a short walk to the lovely beach
