Fantastic location, very close to beaches and towns, Bridport has a Waitrose. The owners are very friendly. The property is in a very peaceful spot and is spacious and cosy. Grandson enjoyed feeding the chickens, sheep and horses and also had a ride on a tractor courtesy of the owner. We would strongly recommend a stay in this cottage.

Fantastic location and a lovely cottage with great amenities. Unfortunately we had issues with the loo, dishwasher, hot water and kettle.

The cottage could have been cleaner, there was dust over the shelves and it looked as if items were dusted around them. The shower in the bedroom needed to have the shower head replaced or cleaned out as some of the holes were blocked because of the hard water. But over all a lovely cottage with great views.

We stayed here with my parents, a baby and three dogs. The house was one of the best that we have every stayed in ( that’s quite a few over the years). The garden was great and secure, house was warm with plenty of hot water. The area is great with access to several beaches not far away and loads of footpaths right from the door. Would highly recommend.

We loved the location, fabulous views and great walks direct from the house. David and Jane were the perfect hosts, relaxed, informative and friendly. The house is well equipped, spacious and comfortable and the games room ( no, barn!) provided entertainment for everyone. Highly recommend this for a family gathering or group of friends.

We had a fabulous relaxing week in the most peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The cottage was warm and comfortable and really dog friendly. The walk in the paddock up the hill is worth it for the stunning views. Highly recommended!

We (3 couples) arrived for our long weekend on the 5 October 18. The location near Lyme and Charmouth, and away from the main roads was perfect for the 3 dogs so we could relax during our stay. The Saturday was wet so the games barn was a great added benefit which we used to the full. With one en suite bathroom plus the main bathroom for 3 couples was fine but we may have struggled if we were the 4 couples as intended. The only negative we had was a difficulty to set the temperature for the shower in the main bathroom. Our thanks to the owners for their warm welcome, and the eggs and milk which was a nice touch.

Spacious cottage but it is tired and needs new beds, sofas and kettle. Also needs a good clean as evidence of cobwebs even under the wash basin in the main bedroom - no door to ensuite, shower and washbasin in bedroom small cupboard housing toilet. Away from it all, had to drive everywhere down very narrow lane only a car width. Friendly owners we only saw on first day as they went on holiday. Outside furniture needs updating.
