Description

Take a walk in the Preseli Hills or visit Oakwood theme park whilst staying at this comfortable cottage which is surrounded by countryside.

Discover this charming, traditional Welsh stone cottage which is nestled down a quiet country lane on the edge of the valley, and which overlooks meadows and woodlands on the owners’ 5-acre smallholding. Bird Song Cottage is one of a pair of attached, lovingly restored stone cottages set in the heart of Pembrokeshire, close to the popular market town of Narberth, and are in the perfect location to discover all that this area has to offer. The cottage has retained much character and feature slate floors, as well as beams and is complete with an elegant, focal wood burner to relax in front of and enjoy a cosy night in after a busy day exploring. The cottage has been thoughtfully furnished to offer a high level of comfort.
Locally you can enjoy a day out at Llys-y-Fran Reservoir and Country Park where you can enjoy a scenic walk around the reservoir and enviable views of the Preseli Hills; whilst here, why not enjoy a spot of lunch overlooking its magnificent waters or take a walk on one of the many walking trails meandering through the Preseli Hills? A family day out at Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a 15-minute drive away. Take a ride on Megafobia, which is often ranked in the top ten wooden rollercoasters in the world, or possibly enjoy a more relaxing toboggan ride. Nearby is the renowned Folly Farm Zoo where you can meet the resident Eastern black rhino and the pride of lions. Be sure to also visit the harbour town of Saundersfoot and the famous walled town of Tenby, with its fine beach, boat trips and sea fishing. Beach 11 miles. Excellent.very peaceful & quiet place to stay. Steve & Sarah are owners of the cottage & are a lovely couple & made us feel very welcome. We definitely recommend this cottage & hopefully will stay there again. It’s a good location with Narberth a 10 minuets drive away with good restaurants, pubs & shops, plus not to far from the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastal areas.
