Restful break in beautiful countryside. The cottage is very comfortable and well-equipped. This was our second stay there and we hope to return again next year.

Lots of attention to detail showed a real desire to get things right for a variety of possible guests. One tiny problem emerged, which it only took a telephone call to resolve -- owners seemed very anxious to correct it for any future guests. Lots of instructions round the place (we've had issues about this kind of thing before), and things worked efficiently. Using the well equipped kitchen was a pleasure. A good variety of birds in garden and immediate area because of adjacent woodlands, including kites, buzzards, ravens, nuthatch and marsh tits. Would like to try the cottage again in spring/summer months when wildlife would be even more active and extensive. No tricky driving required for access from Usk or Abergavenny.
