The bubbling hot tub is set on the terrace where you can open the doors and look over the golf course to the valley beyond. The play park on the site is handy for the children, and around the site you will find little duck ponds the younger ones will adore. Plenty of wildlife can be spotted around the lodge sometimes a Rose deer and often a red squirrel as well as plenty of birdlife.
Percy Woods is a well-established country park within walking distance of a small Northumbrian village. You have beautiful woodside walks and where you may encounter a variety of wildlife. It’s a great central location for discovering what the Northumberland coast and countryside has to offer, including castles, stately homes, market towns, pretty villages, and beaches. Swarland is a friendly little village with a nice café overlooking a play park. With easy access to the A1 for exploring this fabulous county and the miles of golden sandy beaches peppered with friendly villages where you are sure of a warm Northumbrian welcome.
