This detached holiday property is situated approx. ¾ mile from the shores of Loch Lomond and is ideally located for exploring the stunning surroundings of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The area is ideal for walkers and cyclists of all abilities and boasts a magnificent diversity of scenery with dramatic peaks, waterfalls, hidden caves, forest covered slopes, with the West Highland Way only a short distance from the property. All of the front rooms have an open outlook onto green belt land, and the rolling hills beyond, and is situated in a highly desirable area, 200 yards from Balloch Castle Country Park. Located in Balloch, the Gateway town to Loch Lomond with boat trips along the water allow for a relaxing way to take in the scenery. Cameron House, golf/spa resort is a short drive from the property where visitors can enjoy fine dining, day spa packages and championship golf. Lomond Shores, again a short distance from the property, offers designer shopping, loch cruises and an aquarium. The cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are easily accessible by car boasting award winning restaurants, theatres, galleries and concert venues, designer shopping as well as many tourist attractions including Edinburgh Castle. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

    Everything was absolutely perfect and we had no issues apart from the housekeeper. Her manner, tone and attitude was the worst I have ever experienced in a person, and for this reason I would never stay in that house again or recommend it to any friends or loved ones.

    The home owner was very helpful in regards to any issues that we had. He was immediately acting on the feedback he received after our stay. The house is spacious with a good sized garden. The owner supplied many of the essential household items and a welcome basket. It's ideally situated for Loch Lomond and Balloch country park. There is a co op 5 mins away by car along with chip shop and local park. Would definatly recommend a visit to valeview

    Cottage needs some TLC. Beautiful back garden requires maintenance whereas front one is kept tidy. Have to admit disappointment as the garden for my dogs was the reason I chose Vale View.

    A great cottage in a fantastic location , especially if you have a dog. The cottage has everything you need and all the rooms are of a good size. Nice welcome pack not just the usual bottle of wine.

    Gordon is a warm, welcoming, entertaining host who is kind enough to provide a generous welcome pack, comprising themed provisions and CD's; most enjoyable. The cottage, with it's lovely views and peaceful neighbourhood, is ideally situated for all the delights of Loch Lomond. There's plenty of off-road parking, nice gardens, a delightful conservatory and a supply of indoor entertainment (Freesat TV, DVD's, etc.). The heating and hot water is plentiful (paid separately), as are the good quality towels and bedding. However, the whole place is suffering from a lack of TLC; The double bed in the main bedroom is past it's best and needed padding for comfort. Read the same for the furniture. The position and lack of performance of the shower rendered it useless and some of the windows produced 'orrible, ghostly noises in a strong wind.
