The location and town were known to us before booking as we visit regularly . The accommodation was in need of a decor update. Fireplace in lounge area was an open hole in the wall with a small mock log burner sitting within. All three couches were sagging, looked tired and were not very comfortable. Shower ran off an immersion heater - for a house for up to six people it's not appropriate. Also, location of shower head made it difficult to use and potentially dangerous as there was no temperature control. The kitchen is well equipped with both dishwasher and tumble drier - user manuals for both would have been helpful. Linen was provided including towels, however a single towel (bath size) per person and one hand towel between five people is not sufficient. TV had Freeview only but not full range - a chrome cast would have been beneficial.

The only reason I would book this place again is for my dogs to stay in. Otherwise I would stay as far away from this place as possible.
