Oh Una, St Ives...if you’ve been lucky enough to stay at this resort before we know you’ll already be smitten. So close to Carbis Bay that you can walk to the sandy beaches at your leisure, this collection of beautiful eco-lodges has the kind of facilities that’ll make you want to stay for a lifetime.

We know it’s a tough one, but you’ll have to start each day by deciding whether you fancy some time in the indoor swimming pool, or just keep things chilled with a laidback hearty breakfast or leisurely lunch at the on-site restaurant as you plan the days adventures. Whichever you decide to start with, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy doing the things you love. The Retreat spa offers those ever-so-indulgent pampering sessions, and we can even create spa packages for you...

There’s a fitness suite for those of you who love to keep active, but with all those coastal walks to enjoy in the area you’d be forgiven for sticking to the great outdoors during this stay. And remember, the restaurant serves up the tastes and flavours of the region, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to dine in style too.

Our Lodge was very spacious and thoroughly clean! Fully equipped with special comfort touches including lux throws, a Krupps coffee pod machine and lovely crisp white fresh linen. A secluded back space with a quality decking area with a table and chairs, perfect for morning coffees or evening drinks. Very peaceful a real gem.

This is a lovely cottage and was welcoming and cosy with plenty of blankets and comfy chairs. There were some issues with the facilities - the top shelf of the dishwasher hose was broken so none of the cups and glasses would clean and there was a lack of cooking implements and no serving bowls (for vegetables etc at dinner or crisps and snacks). The kitchen knives were all blunt and the drawers in the second bedroom were broken (they kept sliding open). There were also limited plug sockets available in the bedrooms near mirrors to plug in hairdryers etc. Outside was nicely done and there was a useful clothes horse to dry towels etc. and a table with chairs. The beds were very comfortable and all the bed linen etc beautifully clean. The bathroom was a good size and again very clean and the shower is easy to use with good water pressure and heat was easy to control. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and felt very relaxed and private on site.
